Summer in vibrant Istanbul. A young transvestite is found dead after a fire in an abandoned warehouse and the police put it down as a regrettable accident. But something doesn’t seem right to glamour puss ‘Queen of the Night’ and club owner Burcak. What was ‘she’ doing there all alone? Why would any of them go to a strange place in the middle of the night, knowing the violence that threatens their existence? And what does it have to do with the threatening messages in the ‘Manly Girls’ chat room from the visitor with the all too conspicuous name - Jihad2000?
When a second body turns up drowned in a large water cistern any thought of accidental deaths is thrown out of the window. There are too many coincidences for Burcak to ignore; both were regulars of his club, the hub of the transvestite community, and friends in life and death. Fishing for information, Burcak uncovers what might be a definite link between the dead ‘girls’ – their male names and the deaths of the sacred prophets.
