Still dogged by the death of a paedophile he was questioning, an event that forced his career change, Jack is a good, if wayward, PI. Kept in line by his assistant Jenny, his usual cases involve cheating husbands and missing children. All that changes when he finds himself at what appears to be a murder scene. From the lips of the victim, he is told his sister is going to hell. Unaware that he had a sister, Jack embarks on a mission to find out who she is, and save her from whatever fate is planned for her.
Jack’s questions lead him to more bodies, as every one of the four people he tries to contact ends up brutally murdered. The Met are understandably suspicious - his presence at every scene points to him being the murderer. Meanwhile he makes an alarming discovery about his own family, their connection with the occult and a bargain. Armed with a Ouija board, he and Jenny attempt to contact Jack’s old partner for help, but all is not what it seems.
