Since his successful career as an IRA hit man, thug and torturer, the ghosts of the twelve whose lives he took have followed him, watching and waiting. A woman and her baby, a butcher, soldiers, members of the RUC and Loyalists make up the numbers. Altogether the innocents he murdered come to haunt him; their screams echoing through the night until whiskey-fuelled oblivion envelops him.
Fegan becomes renowned as a drunk and a loon, and then a revelation occurs; the only way to be rid of the ghosts that haunt him is to avenge their deaths. Sober up, resurrect the skills that made him so renowned in a previous life and kill. Kill those who betrayed the dead, who gave the orders and who never paid the price. Then, and only then, peace.
